Heeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyy AMAZING PERSON that’s reading this! I’ve missed you! Have you missed me?? Lol, I’m trying… I’m trying to commit to 2 blogs a week AT LEAST. Sometimes I do let the funk of life get to me but that’s just a lame excuse I’m using to get away from the fact that I need to keep you guys in the loop at least twice a week! So hold me accountable, if you don’t see 2 blogs a week from me make sure to text me (if you have my number) DM me, FB message me, whatever! Just tell me “you ain’t doing what you gotta be doing!” K? K cool! Glad you guys are here for me! Anywaaaay….
I’ve been hitting up City Centre lately because well, it’s not too far from me (lol) and I love the atmosphere it gives in both daylight and night time. So you’ll probably notice that a lot of my pictures are taken there, but that’s ok cause regardless of what the background is I can still hit you with some dope outfit inspo… like this one! Check me out mayne!
So I’m a major girly girl, I love cuteness and looking chic at all times. This outfit describes ME, literally. The cute pleated school girl skirt with some sheer tights and my favorite black ankle booties, along with that choker sweater tucked in depicts my style so well! I decided to throw a scarf over it this time since I feel I have yet to do a scarf outfit but lo and behold… HERE IT IS! (sup with these caps?!) This is how I wear my scarves peeps! Now these are some of the very few outfits that do not feature Mari Sabe in it, I have however added similar items that you guys can check out to get a very similar look.
Christmas is literally 5 days away! Funny thing, my family doesn’t celebrate Christmas… So what am I doing talking about Christmas? Well I chose to embrace the holiday and celebrate it. I respect my families point of view on it but I see it as a pastor I heard once said “even though Jesus was not born on Christmas if there’s a day I can celebrate my Saviors birthday, then why not Dec. 25th?” Aside from that I felt that this year Christmas came with a true meaning for me, it’s not just about giving to those you really really like… it’s about giving regardless. Giving to those who may dislike you, who may have made fun of you and who may have once made you feel bad. It’s about truly truly feeling the love. A very special person once said to me “the holidays have a way of bringing people together” and it’s so true! They really do! So let go of grudges, let go of anger and sadness and celebrate the blessings and people around you. With that being said, Merry Christmas to you who’s reading! Thanks for following my journey!
Don’t forget to show some love peeps!
