Date Look #3: Best Restaurants to visit (While on a budget)
[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”50″ gal_title=”tie wrap”]
Last week was a busy busy week for me. My life literally revolves around my full time job, working out 5-6 days a week and then straight to business for Mari Sabe (that involves lots of photoshoots, planning, scheduling, parties, meeting amazing new people and writing.) It almost seems like I currently have no social life haha (I haven’t even gone to watch Black Panther! ((insert crying emoji here))… but I wouldn’t have it any other way! This is what I signed up for and I know one day I will reap the rewards God willing. Working is my state of mind right now. I keep telling my boss I’m gonna be big one day and so I will, therefore there’s got to be some sacrifice along the way. Anyway, speaking of restaurants and cute outfits… I am very close to finalizing my “Date Look” series along with the very talented Mauricio (@mavricioh). Tomorrow will actually mark the end of it and so we will start a new series. Excited for March but man did February fly by!! Lol!
For this particular look I wanted to do something a little more casual with a pop of color. I am also happy to say that my complete outfit (excluding the accessories and shoes) are Mari Sabe and readily available at my boutique! So click the link below to shop. BTW, not to boast but these jeans here are my favorite pair of non-ripped jeans I have in my closet! SUPER comfortable and super easy to wear with almost anything in my closet. The top is one of my newer arrivals and I absolutely love it because it’s so versatile. You can wear it as a crop top with jeans (high or medium waisted as pictured) or even a cute pencil skirt! I’ve also attached where I got my purse; unfortunately this one is no longer in stock but I attached a similar one from the same brand and my shoes were thrifted so I attached some similar ones for you gals to shop for 🙂
I wanted to talk about the best restaurants to visit (while on a budget) for a great date night with bae here in Houston!
Here are my top 3 and they’re all DELICIOUS, wouldn’t be sharing them with you guys if they weren’t. Typically for 2 people average spent (not accounting for alcohol) is $25 or less:
1. Fusion Taco (Located in Dowtown Houston)- This place is what google reviewers would call a GEM because it is! It’s a fusion of Asian and Mexican I believe, and their tacos do not disappoint! Even their quesadilla is good! They have a combo where you can get 2 tacos and a side and of course I always go for chips and salsa cause that’s my thang! But they’re cole slaw is pretty damn good too. The surrounding area is awesome, it’s right in front of Market Square Park, which is super nice and romantic for a date day/night stroll (if I remember correctly, should’ve googled this haha but I figured you guys would like a surprise.)
2. Kenshin Sushi (Located in Missouri City)- Aaaah this place is so awesome and the sushi is DELICIOSO! It’s kinda hidden and honestly I truly believe if they were in a better location this place would get packed! Why? First of all because they have an amazing Happy Hour and by Happy Hour I mean SUSHI ROLLS Happy Hour! The best one is the Mount Fuji, which Rommel and I LOVE! Because of the Happy Hour deals we’ve never have had to spend more then $25 on this place and we always always end up satisfied and happy 🙂 Also their service is so good! Everyone from the owner to the waiters are super nice and sweet! And afterwards ya’ll could go watch a movie at Star Cinema Grill cause it’s just a walking distance from there… you’re welcome!
3. Flor de Cuba (Located on Clay Rd. & Hwy 6)- The reason why I love this place is because their food is amazing. With a wide variety of Cuban cuisine and then afterwards some dancing.. if you dare to try they never disappoint! On the weekends they have a small little area attached to the restaurant, cover is typically $5 (if that hasn’t changed) and you can go in there, eat and then stay for a good time! Their margaritas are also decently priced and honestly if you’re not up for the dancing it’s all good! Just watching the live salsa band and people dancing is a show in itself. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to do something super fun and different.
So of course there’s way more places and I’d love to hear other recommendations, drop them below if that’s the case! And if you try any of the above listed places lmk what you think!!
